John started working as a piano tuner/technician in the 1970’s in Papua New Guinea to assist and support the poorly maintained pianos in this harsh remote climate. This often-involved hand making piano parts to make a piano operational.

Many years later, John opened a music shop in Shepparton Victoria that had grown from his extensive tuning and servicing of piano’s throughout Northern Victoria. The “Music Man” music store sold new and restored pianos, string, brass and woodwind instruments and incorporated a music school.

John has continued his passion for pianos and embraces the joy that an “in tune” piano brings to its owners. He is resident in the Melbourne suburb of Croydon Victoria and travels throughout Melbourne and outlying areas to provide a service to his customers. John is available for piano tuning and piano servicing in your home, church or entertainment venue.
