What are the signs that a piano needs tuning

Updated: May 4

 1.     It sounds off or “sour” – even to untrained ears.

2.     Notes vibrate or “wobble” – this is called “beating.”

3.     It’s been over a year since your last tuning.

4.     Some keys sound uneven – louder, softer, or dull.

5.     You’re preparing for a performance or exam.
